PRAY ’11, DAY 6: The Seniors or Older Adults

Praise:
God! Surely you have granted us eternal blessings and made us glad with the joy of your presence.
(See Psalm 21:6)

Reflect:
But as for you, speak the things which are fitting for sound doctrine. Older men(people) are to be temperate, dignified, sensible, sound in faith, in love, in perseverance.
-Titus 2:1-2

Stand up in the presence of the aged, show respect for the elderly and revere your God. I am the LORD.
-Leviticus 19:32

Admit(and Ask):
Pray for the people in your life who are 50+, grandparents and the mature or older adults. Pray for their overall,including spiritual,health and their encouragement.

Yield:
Give the gift of time to a senior person in your life. Do something for them that will let them know you care. Invite them to use their gifts for ministry, welcome their wisdom and experience.
