‘Passionate Spirituality’ Comes Alive

August 12, 2009

The focus was on Jesus as the people of H.o.P.E sang and reflected on the the meaning of His presence in their lives, and their need for Him today.

Prayers went up on behalf of the families who have lost their beloved ones this week and even that day: Beloved Mel and Maria are among those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. Despite the grief, there was hope:
Dr. Morris had the opportunity to personally share the promises of Scripture with Mel and his family.

There is power in the Word of God. The disciples on the road to Emmaus felt their passion for God burn within as Jesus opened up the truth about Himself from Scripture. -(Luke 24:32)

We too can have an alive, passionate spirituality as we leave distractions behind and expose our minds to the Bible’s transforming power.

You can encourage others by sharing how you ‘expose your mind’ to the God’s Word and the effect this has had on your prayer life when you do. Share by writing to FACEBOOK’s ‘house of prayer experience’ group or sending a note to pr****@**************ch.org

Praying for your joy…and hope for the journey.
